When I worked at Edge O beyond as a product developer, I was involved with developing luxury lingerie ranges and a swim range. My role involved the entire process of developing a luxury range, from initial design to shipping orders to a customers front door. I was responsible for re-working the full bust bra pattern to create a better fit for sizes D -G, whilst my high waist thong design was selected to go into production, which has now been re released in different seasons proving a unique yet also classic design EOB signature style.
Processes included – design development, pattern making from scratch, material selection and sourcing, factory liaising and visits, producing factory standard tech packs, sewing samples, fitting samples, sewing final samples, size grading garments, business costings and profits, packing orders and dropping bulk orders at the post office, customer service at trade show events.
