Selected Works

The willow set was designed for Sew Projects, my lingerie sewing pattern brand. Vintage shapes have always been a big inspiration for me as they create that timeless shape, however they weren’t all that comfortable due to the non stretch fabrics used, so I wanted to bring the vintage inspiration of the 1940s/50s but with the comfort of modern materials to create a supportive vintage inspired shape yet very comfortable to wear. The soft cup bra was not only sized to A-D cups but re fitted so it also supports and fits a DD-G cup.

Processes included design, pattern drafting from scratch, material selection, fitting core sizes and full bust sizes, digital size grading, instructions manual, and pattern formatting to print for home sewers.

The owner of Fiere came to me because she had a vision of adding a hosiery garment to her brand. We created a look that felt seamless with the rest of her brand.

Processes included design, fabric sourcing call, tech pack, pattern drafting from scratch, fitting, sampling, grading in 2 size sets and small batch production contact.

I’m very happy with the end result. The design looks amazing. Yelena is very professional and also great to work with. She was very patient with my lack of technical knowledge sometimes, and really worked together with me to get the desired result. I’m beyond pleased with what she created.

Technical Pack

When I worked at Edge O beyond as a product developer, I was involved with developing luxury lingerie ranges and a swim range. My role involved the entire process of developing a luxury range, from initial design to shipping orders to a customers front door.

Processes included – design development, pattern making from scratch, material selection and sourcing, factory liaising and visits, producing factory standard tech packs, sewing samples, fitting samples, sewing final samples, size grading garments, business costings and profits, packing orders and dropping bulk orders at the post office, customer service at trade show events.

I am delighted to write a testimonial for one of the product developers who worked with Edge o’ Beyond’s team. During her time with the brand, she demonstrated skills in pattern cutting, grading, and populating tech packs for our factory, along with a keen attention to detail and dedication to quality.

As a member of the product development team, she played a vital role in bringing our designs to life. Her ability to transform ideas into tangible products that met our brand’s high standards was remarkable. Her contributions to the team were invaluable, and her positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with others made her a pleasure to work with.

Swimwear Designer

Peach Trail asked me to create patterns and samples for their photoshoot for their swimwear collection. I drafted 4 bikini sets and 2 swimsuit patterns from scratch, fitted them and create final samples for their promotional photoshoot.

Yelena and I worked together on a swimwear collection. She worked at speed and the whole range fit perfectly. She payed close attention to the fit of the product. Her attention to detail and finish was impeccable.
Her communication and understanding of my vision was perfect which is critical when working with a tech.
I’d highly recommend working with her.
